From Todd Cave:

"I was Music Director at the time and was responsible for everything on the list. Sam Glick was Program Director and I received invaluable help from Wally Leisering in selecting the music. The playlist actually reflects the transitionary period between Top 40 and a structured album-oriented format. The idea was to expand the list adding any appropriate song that had some sort of hook. It was our feeling that there were lots of great songs that just needed more exposure. And people responded. In September of 1974 I moved to Program Director and Wally took over the role of Music Director. Wally and I spent the summer listening to part of every (yes, I said every) cut on every record and created a computer printout of every cut playable within the format, day-parted for it's sound."
